9jaSME Launches an Online Hub for SMEs in Nigeria
In a bid to empower small and medium scale enterprises operating in the country and improve their visibility in the e-commerce space,9jasme , weekend launched e-commerce portal for local SMEs – The 9JASME Hub. The 9JASME, the first of its kind, is a free, secure e-commerce and business directory platform where businesses can list, promote and sell their products and services online.

He noted that 9jasme has registered a total of 5,200 (five thousand, two hundred merchants) todate, saying that the Ghana and East African versions will be launched before the end of the years as both countries have critical mass of small businesses. “There is no getting away from the fact that economic conditions remain challenging for small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.
