I will like to relate the story of the man who in a dream reviewed all the footsteps he had taken in his life. He noticed that all over mountains 
and difficult places he had traversed, there was one set of footprints 
only, whereas over the planes and down the slopes, there were two footprints.
In the dream, he turned to Christ and said He did not understand why it was that down the hills and over the smooth and easy places, Christ had walked by his side, but over the tough and difficult places He had walked alone for He could see only one set of footprints in those places.
Christ turned to the man and said; It is while life was easy I walked by your side; but here, where the walking was hard and the paths were difficult was the time you needed me most, and that is why I carried you.

Many a times, when we are passing through situations that seems to be beyond us, we think God has departed from us meanwhile it is at that moment that Jesus our Lord is doing us good beyond our imagination and comprehension.
