As churches and mosques prepare to re-open later this month, the Lagos government has issued guidelines to the effect.
Recall Governor Sanwo-Olu had on Thursday, June 4 announced that religious centers will reopen from June 19.
Lanre Mojola, the Director-General of Lagos State Safety Commission, at a follow-up media briefing on Friday, said officials would be deployed to strictly enforce all the guidelines and protocols.
1.Mosques will reopen on June 19 while churches resume June 20.
2.Infants and children below the age of 15 and adults over 65 should not be in attendance.

3.Religious gatherings are restricted to Friday and Sunday only, no vigil or weekly services.
4.Only 40% of church members can attend a service while religious houses with larger congregations or where the number exceeds 500 at the given percentage can have more than one service.
5. All members must wear a face mask
6. Churches and mosques are to carry out regular fumigation of their premises and keep clean premises.

7.All churches must provide infrared thermometer, rushing water, and alcoholic based sanitizer.
8. Worshipers would observe the standard two metres social distancing protocol from each other while seated in the church or mosque.
9. Religious houses will be registered before they can open the Lagos State Safety Commission would be going round to check the level of compliance by the religious houses.
