Dare Bankole Congratulates New Olupo of Ajase-Ipo
The House of Rep candidate of PDP in 2019 general elections, Engineer Dare Bankole,FNSE has congratulated Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Moahmed on his emergence as the new OLUPO of Ajase-Ipo and successor to the late Oba Sikiru Atanda Woleola II.
This is contained in a Congratulatory statement issued in Omu-aran, the headquarter of Irepodun local government through this media office on Monday 21st of June 2021, a copy of which was made available to Journalists.
Engineer Bankole, who himself is the Otunba Atadese of Ila Orangun kingdom described appointment of Barrister Bolaji Yahaya by Governor Abdulraham Abdulrazaq as timely and excellent ,owing to his wealth of experience and knowledge in both public and private sector, noting that his abundant intellectual capacity will help him move the ancient Igbomina town forward .
Dare Bankole lauded the Ajase-Ipo traditional council for the hectic but peaceful selection process which eventually led to the confirmation by the state government.
He urged the new Olupo to commit himself to carrying his everyone along to a new era of peace, stability and progress in Igbomina land, Kwara south and the entire state as a whole.
“As your majesty will begin to participate in all rites of ascension to the revered throne of your forebears , myself and my family rejoice with you on this milestone and wish you succesful reigns on the throne of your forefathers.”
“Ajase-Ipo is critical to the custody of the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Igbomina people in Kwara state and by this virtue, the people of Ajase-ipo and of course Igbomina race will look forward to your Highness as you deliver lesdership roles that will affect the interest of this great generation , I urge your Majesty to be a leader to us all devoid of Politics, religion and or ethnic affinity.” The statement added
“May the good Lord be your guide and protect you as you continue to make Ajase-Ipo , Igbomina race , Kwara and Nigeria national thrive among comity of nations . ”
