Miss Ciepuk 2021 Contest To Proffer Solution To Nigeria’s Educational System Says, Organisers





The Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners UK (CIEPUK), organisers of MISS CIEPUK 2021 says the contest aims at proffering solution to Nigeria’s educational system.




Prof. Marcel Ezenwoye, the President, CIEPUK Africa said that the contest which was being organised in collaboration with Dariya Global Network Nig. Ltd. was scheduled to hold on Aug. 26.


While briefing newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja on the state of the educational sector in Nigeria, he noted that the government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari had so far recorded some achievements.


The don however noted that despite all the milestones recorded by the government, alot more still needed to be done, adding that the country’s literacy level was still at an all-time low.


He noted that the contest therefore was a welcome idea and part of events lined up to mark the 2021 Investiture Awards and Conference on Education Administration in Nigeria which was also scheduled to hold on Aug. 26 at the Merit House, Abuja from 10 a.m.


“The theme of the 2021 Investiture awards and conference is: Innovative Teaching Strategies.


“CIEPUK, an institute armed with the responsibility of bringing education in its simplest form with continuous offers of scholarships, workshops, training, symposium and conferences.


“The institute confers different categories of awards on well meaning individuals, Nigerians and other personalities around the world.


“CIEPUK, therefore came up with a well thought out ceremony to honour individuals linked with education, especially during the fight against the pandemic that almost crippled economies world over.



“Professional Membership Award will also be conferred on members who have continued to raise the visibility of the great work of academic professionals and their current challenges.


He noted that among award recipients was the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, alongside other dignitaries.


Ezenwoye revealed that there would be mouth-watering prizes for first, second and third contestants as well as other consolation prizes for participants of the MISS CIEPUK 2021.


“The winner of MISS CIEPUK will be rewarded with an official appointment with CIEPUK, a monthly salary as well as an official car.


“While the first and second runner ups will also be given an official appointment with CIEPUK, monthly salaries as well as a smart phone and consolation prize respectively.


“In addition, all contestants will be granted a CIEPUK Membership Certificate.


“So, if you are intelligent, beautiful and believe you can proffer solution to the country’s educational system, you are invited to join the contest,” he said.


He added there would also be a diplomatic dinner with varieties of sumptuous buffet, as well as music, comedy, special appearances and lots more.


“The red carpet for the event will kick off at 5 p.m., while the event proper and dinner starts at 6 p.m. prompt.
