Coalition spokesman Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, Koiki has called for the British government to release Sunday Igboho from Nigeria and Benin.
He made this clear in a letter to the British government asking them to negotiate with Benin to release Sunday Igboho because he is not a criminal.
Koiki had been detained for five months in the Benin Republic and had not been charged with any crime and had not been released.
To make the British government listen to what he was saying, Koiki sent a letter of complaint to Britain.
He has also sent a letter of protest to Nigerians to sign the letter.
If you do not forget the government of the Benin Republic arrested Sunday Adeyemo in July 2021 when he was about to take the place to Germany.
He was later charged with felony criminal mischief by the Nigerian government and was arraigned in Benin.
So far, however, no specific charges have been filed against him by the federal government, nor have he been released from custody.
