Tungba singer-songwriter Yinka Ayefele has described the death of former Oyo state governor Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala as a great loss to him and his family.
“There is no way I can write about my life story that I will not write about Otunba Adebayo Christopher Alao Akala”.
In a press release, Ayefele said that among his benefactors was Alao Akala, who is also a gift from God to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Mr Ayefele said he was grateful to the deceased for directing as he sang for celebrities and celebrities, including the president, especially former vice president Atiku Abubakar and others.
He said: “No matter how much I write my life story, I do not write much about the favors that Otunba Alao Akala has done for me.
He explained that Akala was one of those whom God used for him. And as he became an artist’s choice for Aso Rock, so much so that he has been singing for the Atiku family ever since they were celebrating.
Somehow Ayefele said it was difficult for him to believe that Akala was dead.
“It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring.”
The condolences to the bereaved family also said that forever the memory of Alao Akala will be in the hearts of all those who helped.
