Oyo State Seriki Fulani Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir has said he wants to see Chief Sunday Igboho either in a prison in Benin Republic or in Nigeria.

Abdulkadir made the remarks while speaking to BBC Yoruba about the challenges he faces after a year of eviction from his hometown of Igangan.

Igikian Seriki Fulani wanted to ask Igboho what he had done to his residence in Igangan.

Alhaji Abdulkadir accused Igboho of leading the attack on his house where his residence and three other houses he had built on the streets of Igangan were set on fire.

Seriki Fulani told BBC Yoruba that Igboho and his followers abducted six people at his home, including his younger brother.

She also said her husband and children were also set on fire.

They were created by Seriki Fulani and they are human beings.

I was in a lot of pain after I left Igangan, life was hard:

Some newspapers have previously reported that Seriki Fulani has said he does not want Igboho to be released from detention in Benin Republic.

Alhaji Abdulkadir was the one who sent Igboho to Igangan so that they could either release Igboho by force or stay there.

Seriki Fulani told BBC Yoruba that he and his family had been suffering since he was deported from Igangan to Ilorin.

“What I am happy about is that no one has enough evidence to say that he is dealing with the abducted Fulani.

Give us money to be sorry for being our empty asset and justice – Seriki Fulani

Seriki Fulani is asking the government of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to give him, and other Fulani who can be evicted from Igangan, money.

He said he and others after the incident, who had been evicted from Igangan, had not been able to recover.

“A year after this attack, we have not received anything from the government.

Everything I worked on was completely destroyed one day, my lost cows could often be found in Igangan.

This election season is coming, politicians are not in my house, there are only two polling stations in my house in Igangan.

I do not want justice to be done on how to get out of Igangan.

And I and all the other Fulani who can leave Igangan are speaking for him, “said Seriki Fulani.

I want to return to Igangan, if they want to read back there:

Talking about how happy and exciting his life was in Igangan, Seriki Fulani would like to return to the city.

“If they want to go back to Igangan, we are ready to go back because we did not fight or fight,” he said.

“There is nothing wrong with allowing us to return to Igangan.”

What happened to Seriki Fulani a year ago in Igangan?

It may have been a year ago that an unprovoked security incident took place in Igangan and the Oke Ogun region as a whole.

Many extrajudicial killings, kidnappings, robberies and rapes are taking place in the area, and locals are to blame for the incidents on suspected Fulani pastoralists, led by Seriki Fulani.

In fact, most of the people in the area have not left their homes due to the daily attacks, and the police have not counted the suspects.

In fact, the local police were also accused of pursuing the perpetrators and releasing them in custody.

That is why a Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, ordered Seriki Fulani not to leave the area, and gave him seven days to obey the order.

Forget it, January 22, 2021 marked the 7th day of Sunday Igboho for Seriki Fulani, which ordered him to leave Igangan.

On the same day, Igboho and his followers went to the protest site, after which some people set fire to Seriki Fulani’s house and property.
