Describe your background as an artist briefly and what led to you creating art?

Thanks so much for this platform……

I am Olaniyi Noah Jesuloba student of Tai Solarin University of Education, Mathematics department 400 level…. I am from Ogun State Ado/Odo it’s local government….. My daddy is a teacher and and my mum is an architectural and also decorator/ Event planner

I grew up at Atan ota Ogun State and grew up as an artist in whc I inherit from my mum…. She also is an artist by the only difference is am a visual pencil artist but she is an  architect…. i.e she drawn plan

I have been an artist from childhood…. But abandoned my pencil for Good 6years which when I entered into secondary school I never draw as an artist but as a student cause I am a science student so my mentality then as they use to say science class is not for jokers so I left drawing as an artist and face my studies squarely…… But eventually after several attempt in learning computer I realised I was nt stable…. I was taken to several shops t learn but I noticed I don’t stay long b4 I left,

When I got to SSS3 b4 graduating and started thinking on how life will be after secondary school then I remembered I am a talent artist so I decided to return back to my pencil….. As an artist

What are the central themes of your work?

I have always be a pencil based visual artist….. PORTRAITURE and my themes comes as the I receive the inspiration and based on the things happening around…….

Unlike during the EndSars that was when I was inspired to make a drawing titled Brutality a drawing of a guy injured at the forehead with a gun behind…..

And so many others too…..

Describe your evolution as a visual artist.

I believe I still have a very long way to go….

So o believe in three things which has brought me this present stage I am. Is

  1. PRACTICING
  2. CONSISTENCY
  3. PATIENT

I have been practicing right from the day….. I pick my pencil back and I realize the more I practice and consistent about it with my patience there are great different which differentiate my former at work than the present….

Even the Bible said THE GLORY OF THE LATER HOUSE SHALL BE GREATER THAN THE FORMER..
